Toxicity Studies:

Based on the acute toxicity study results, the colorants Sylva uses are considered to be at the lowest toxicity level (Category IV) possible, and are not a skin sensitizer. These studies were performed under GLP, and by following the EPA accepted procedures.
Based on study results to be considered toxic:
- 200 lbs. man would have to consume more than 1 pound of the colorants Sylva uses in concentrate
  - or -
  - 200 lbs. man would have to consume 150-216 lbs. of wood mulch treated with colorant (application rate of 3 lbs. per cubic yard)
