What do we mean by safe?
SylvaSafe mulch uses a premium quality colorant not only for its brilliant colors and long life, but because it has been independent laboratory tested safe. Their studies show our colorants are non-toxic to the skin, eyes, lungs and internal system.

So it's safe for people.
Is it safe for the soil and air?
SylvaSafe's colorant has also been proven to have no detectable Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). And Toxic "Heavy" Metal levels are well below EPA guidelines. This means there is nothing harmful evaporating into the air, or soaking into your plants and drinking water.

Tested Safe
- The only colorant independently lab tested to be safe for contact or consumption.
