At Sylva Sustainable Forest Products we manufacture mulch, soil/compost, animal bedding, biomass fuel, charcoal/bio-char and organic amendments made from all natural wood sources.  Our wood mulches are made from native trees and our colored mulches use non-toxic dye formulas.  Our products are sustainably harvested to protect the environment and are safe for use in the landscape.  Our mulches and amendments help create living soils that grow healthy plants and add beauty to the landscape.

At Sylva we also work with communities to recycle urban trees for use as mulches and as a biomass fuel for regional power production.  In addition, we partner with companies to convert “more” valuable urban woods into furniture and other products that help sequester the carbon for longer periods of time.

Our headquarters is in Princeton, Minnesota; 50 miles north of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota.  We manage municipal wood collection locations in Plymouth and North and South Minneapolis and collect wood from all the communities surrounding Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota.  All of our products are available through distributers in the Twin Cities and throughout the Midwest.
